Seascapes - night
There is a time before the sun rises and sets when the sky evolves through an array of beautiful hues that colour the world below them.
There’s not enough light for “normal” photos, but there is the opportunity for long-exposure photography, where the camera shutter is left open for a prolonged period.
These photos reveal a hidden world of amazing colour that appears black as night to the naked eye, and the movement of the stars, ships, clouds and waves is seen.
Pett Level - Remnants 1
At Pett Level there can be seen the remnants of the old sea wall structure. Decaying, eroding, they make abstract sculptural shapes in the surf.
